여학생의 최대 성장 발육 연령에 관한 연구 : 6~16세까지의 종단적 조사방법에 의한 = A Study on the Maximum Growth Age of School Girls

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The major objective of this thesis was to study Physical Statistics of Girls according to their physical structure, Maximum Growth Age.
For this purpose the writer surveyed the heights, weights, chest-girth, sitting height of 617 girls of 16 age groups, living in Seoul, and the total 617 girls were randomly selected.
The basic data were obtained from "the student health condition card"in order to longitudinal study.
The conclusion of this survey are as follows:
1. Physical Growth and Development, Maximum Growth Age
1) Body Height
The average body height of 6 years girls was 115.61 cm. However, rapidly they got to achieve in 16 years age average body height of 160.47cm for girls. The Maximum Growth Age of girls was 10.64 years old.
2) Body Weight
The average body height of 6 years girls was 19.94kg. However, they grew steadily to achieve in 16 years the average body weight of 53.09kg for girls.
The Maximum Growth Age of girls was 11.11 years old.
3) Chest-Girth
The average Chest-girth of 6 years girls was 55.77cm. However, they grew steadily to in 17 years the average Chest-girth of 83.44cm for girls.
The Maximum Growth Age of girls was 10.02 years old.
4) Sitting-Height
The aveage sitting height of 6 years girls was 64.06cm. However, they grew steadily to achieve in 16 years the average sitting height of 85.53cm for girls.
The Maximum Growth Age of girls was 11.32 years old.

2. Physical Indices
1) R??her Index
From 6 age group, the R??her indices of girls(1.29) demonstrated the tendency of decreasing with age, until 11 age group, but after they grew to reach in 16 years age average indices of 1.29 for girls.
2) Vervaeck Index
From 6 age group, the vervaeck index of girls(65.51) demonstrated the tendency of increasing with age to reach the indices for girls in 16 age group(85.09).
But in general the indices showed a shortage of 90 normal points in all age group.
