This study has been performed to analyze gender difference on perceiving abusive behaviors on the aged. In this study, 200 youngsters aged 20s-30s were selected in small cities and rural counties, and interviewed about how deeply they perceive special behaviors as elderly abuse. It was observed that males perceive emotional and financial abusive behaviors more serious abuse than females. It is presumed that because females are involved in more intensive careworks for the elderly such as meal preparation and household chores, and therefore more exposed to intimate contacts with senile status, they are stressed and negatively oriented to the elderly more than males. Overall in this study, it is proposed that education for evaluating the image be intensified more onto females than rural males. Moreover, it is also proposed that female youngsters caring an senile elderly parent be the primary target group for the education.
