기업경영 패러다임의 전환 = A Study on the Paradigm Shift in Business Management

국문 초록 (Abstract)

21세기를 맞아 기업환경이 급변하면서 신경영패러다임에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이는 대기업의 잇단 부도 등 지금까지의 경영형태가 위기에 직면한 상황에서 2000년대 기업경영의 대안을 찾자는 기업들의 시도로 구체화되고 있는 것이다.
신경영 패러다임이란 기업경영에 있어서 기존의 시각과 틀을 완전히 바꾸어 시대에 걸맞는 경영형태를 적용하는 것을 말한다. 즉, 신경영 패러다임은 기업경영에 대한 시각의 변화, 기업인의 경영마인드 변혁, 새로운 경영목표의 정립, 경영자원에 대한 인식전환, 조직 및 운영시스템 혁신 등 다양한 방면에서 추구되고 있다.
이를 '경영패러다임의 전환'이라고 부르는 것은 과거 경영구조와의 과감한 단절을 통해 2000년대 신경영구조를 세워야 한다는 기업들의 의지가 있기 때문이다. 따라서 기업경영에 획기적인 변화가 없는 한 슬기롭게 헤쳐나가기 어렵다. 환경변화에 따라 기업경영 패러다임도 변화해야 하고, 기업의 뼈를 깎는 변신노력이 필요하다. 세계가 하나의 시장으로 통합되고 경쟁환경이 급변하는 21세기에는 기업들은 경영체질을 바꿔야 살아남을 수 있다.

Facing the 21st century, as the competition among firms and nations gets tougher, each firm has made a lot of efforts to reinforce its competitiveness. In recent years the competitiveness of the firms been getting worse than ever, because of an old business paradigm.
The concern about a new business paradigm is increasing in order to meet drastically the changing business environment. A new business paradigm means that it applies for business patterns fitting the new era in business management. Namely, new business paradigm is pursued in various fields such as a new vision about business management, the change in business goals, the shift of recognition about business resources, the innovation in structure and operating systems.
According to the environment change, the business paradigm must change if we want continuous success. Because the competitive environment will change in the 21st century, the firms cannot survive without improving their business constitution.
