이규보의 건축물 대상 기문에 나타나는 인생관 고찰 = A Study about Lee Kyu-bo’s view of life from narratives about traditional architecture

This paper tried to attempted to examine a his view of life through essays about traditional architecture created by Lee Kyu-bo(1168-1241). 17 works is related to architecture included in 『Dongguk-yisanggukjip(東國李相國集)』. These are divided into those for establishing relations with the ruler, those related to the space in which he stays, and writed for the people who are acquainted with himself.
In his article, he has consistently commented on not competing for fame and fortune. However, this not mean that he satisfied at the time or wantwd to stay in nature. Rather, he said that serving official posts and contributing to the country and coordination is an act of following human nature.
In addition, while giving favorable reviews that everything is arranged to fit in the perfect moment for each, it considered as an important part the nature of 'Clean[淸淨]'. Clean refers to a state in which there is no vulgarity and no anguish, and it is also in contact with the realization of the Buddha. He's focus on the clean attributes and disappearance of human inner anguish is in line with he's attitude of life not competing for fame and fortune.
