창의성과 인성 함양을 위한 청소년 글쓰기 연구 = A Study on Youth Writing for Reinforcement of Creativity and Personality

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research focuses on theoretical and practical education based on creativity combined with personality rather than framing its conceptual definition or pointing out diverse viewpoints. In this regard, this study puts its focus on autobiographical writing as an alternative to integrate personality education into creativity and morality education, of which the major premise is that creativity and personality are the two axes that support whole-person education for youths. There are five types of creativity·personality autobiographical writing as follows: First, writing emotional cards; Second, expanding one`s ego and human relationship by writing family introduction, thank-you cards, friendship cards or personal experience about a trip; Third, writing personal statements in which a person writes something he/she wants to say to him/herself; Fourth, writing a letter of self-introduction as a practical means; and Fifth, writing creative autobiographies that include one`s past and future. Autobiographical writing is the most challenging form of writing in the process of creativity·personality education, and is aimed for learners who are trained enough in the former steps of writing. The strategy of autobiographical writing is to reinforce creativity and personality by objectifying oneself as the protagonist and observer of one`s own experiences. This study examines creative personality education through reflective thinking and confession shown in Yoon, Dongju`s poem, Self-portrait. Further, the creative personality education through narrative identity reflected in Hwang, Sunwon`s autobiographical novel is also dealt with. In conclusion, these two examples of autobiographical writing can provide youth learners with the opportunity to understand and examine one`s self while simultaneously cultivating them with creativity and personality which is necessary in today`s 21st century knowledge information society.
