    The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of goal structure strategy and team effectiveness on performances of students in web-based PBL. Subjects of the study consisted of 101 juniors of college students. Goal structure strategy and team effectiveness have independent variables of the study. Goal structure strategy was divided into two types, which was cooperative strategy and competitive strategy. Dependent variables were about project performance, learning achievement, and participation that was used to experimental materials. t-test and regression method was applied to analyze the data. The study questions of this study were as follows: First, are project learning results between cooperative strategy and competitive strategy in web-based PBL significant different? Second, does team effectiveness influence on project learning results? And last, does team effectiveness influence on project learning results according to cooperative strategy and competitive strategy? The major findings were as follows: First, there was significant different project performance and learning achievement between cooperative strategy and competitive strategy in web-based PBL. Second, cooperative strategy of web-based PBL is positive effect of project performance. And competitive strategy of web-based PBL is positive effect of learning achievement. And third, the results showed that team effectiveness was significant predictor on learning achievement in web-based PBL. The fourth is that, the results showed team effectiveness was significant predictor on learning achievement on cooperative strategy group in web-based PBL. Finally, the results showed that team effectiveness was significant predictor on participation on competitive strategy group in web-based PBL. Based on the findings from the study, following conclusion was drawn. To support project-based learning efficiently and effectively, well-designed learning facilitative strategies and the promotion of team effectiveness are strongly recommended. The solutions of support are explicit goal establishment, clear definition of each role, reflection of performance, interpersonal relations and collaboratively embedded activities among students.
