Recently, the branching of young people in Mongolia is accelerating, and the nuclear family has increased the influence of children, and there is a change in which parents place more importance on their children's surroundings. Therefore, in this study, we proposed a differentiated home textile product to the Mongolian market by producing a bedding set for children based on the Mongolian myth of the five most important animals in the life of Mongolian nomads. First, as a result of defining bedding and analyzing previous studies in a theoretical review, first, the textile and home textile industries in Mongolia have not been actively invested and developed. Second, compared to foreign home textile products, Mongolian products are not diverse and there are many studies related to Mongolian cashmere fibers, but studies related to the development of home textile products for children are insufficient. Next, the work design proposal was made into five sets of designs by selecting two Mongolian myths through literature and reflecting trends and colors using five animals, horse, cow, sheep, goat, and camel, as design motifs. Through this study, various design products that can appeal to the Mongolian textile market were developed using current trends and Mongolian traditional materials, we were able to draw design proposals that can give dreams and hopes along with imagination to Mongolian children. During follow up study, we hope that draft designs will be produced in prototypes in a market and developed through consumer surveys, helpful for researchers who are studying design about Mongolia.
