상업영화 <완득이>를 활용한 고등학생용 상호문화교육 프로그램 개발: 디지털 영상매체의 활용 방안을 중심으로. = Development of Intercultural Educational Programs for High School Students Utilizing the Korean Commercial Movie Wandeugi: An Application Plan of Digital Image Media

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this paper is to give concrete instances for the intercultural educational program for the high school students using the commercial movie Wandeugi. Through the examples we would like to show that the commercial film as one type of the digital image media is expected to be a very useful and important teaching-learning tool of intercultural educational program for the social integration in multicultural societies. Above all, intercultural educational programs utilizing commercial films are proved in some researches to arouse learners' interest, improve their concentration on learning contents, to reduce their psychological burden of learning and provide indirect learning. It should not, however, be overlooked that instructors have to invest much time and effort to develop intercultural educational programs using digital image media. For this reason the development of intercultural teaching-learning programs can be a big burden to instructors. It is, therefore, reasonable that if the specialists for intercultural education have a channel for sharing intercultural teaching-learning programs they can design more efficiently the intercultural educational program for the social integration through the reduction of temporal and psychological burden of instructors.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 상업영화 <완득이>를 활용한 고등학생용 상호문화교육 프로그램의 구체적인 실례를 제시하고자한다. 그 실례를 통해 디지털 영상매체 중 하나인 상업영화가 다문화사회의 사회통합을 위한 상호문화교육프로그램을 개발하고 활용하는데 있어 유용하면서도 중요한 교수·학습 도구가 될 수 있음을 보이고자 한다.
특히 상업영화를 활용하여 개발한 상호문화교육 프로그램은 학습자에게 흥미를 유발하고, 집중력을 높이고, 학습에 대한 심리적 부담을 줄여주고, 간접 경험의 기회를 제공할 수 있다. 그러나 디지털 영상매체를 활용하여 상호문화교육 프로그램을 개발하는 작업은 교수자에게 많은 시간과 노력을 요구한다. 이는 교수·학습프로그램의 개발에 장애물로 작용할 수 있다. 그래서 교수자들이 개발한 교수·학습 프로그램을 서로 공유할수 있는 통로가 마련된다면, 교수자들은 수업 준비에 따른 시간적·심리적 부담을 줄여 사회통합을 위한 상호문화교육 프로그램을 보다 효율적으로 설계할 수 있을 것이다
