The purpose of this study was to investigate the teachers' work stress related with their personality types and the differences in their work stress by variables related with child care. Subjects were 228 CCC teachers in Chungnam province. They responded to 'Egogram' for their personality types and 'teachers' work stress questionnaire'. The data were collected from July 29 to Aug. 3, 2002. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson's correlation, oneway ANOVA and post hoc test(Duncan test) by SPSS PC program(10.0 version). Results are as follows; first, CCC teachers' work stress was the highest score in excessive work and their egogram type was NP. Second, there were significant correlations in teachers' work stress and their personality type, such as total score, lack of support material, relationship with senior teacher, relationship with colleague teacher, and relationship with work satisfaction with CP; relationship with senior teacher with FC; total score, lack of support material and relationship with senior teacher with AC. Third, there was not a significant difference in work stress by personality type. Fourth, there were significant differences in work stress by variables related teaching job. Especially teachers' work stress was significant differences in its total score by CCC types and their office going-hour.
