청소년자녀가 있는 재혼가족의 새부모역할 경험에 관한 연구 = Stepparenting Role Experiences of Stepfamilies with Adolescent Children at Home

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 질적 사례연구를 통하여 재혼가족의 새부모 역할경험에 대한 사례분석을 시도하였다. 연구대상자는 청소년기 자녀(중·고등학교)가 있는 재혼자로 총 9인에 대한 사례연구와 심층면접을 바탕으로 재혼가족 부모의 새부모 역할경험을 살펴보았다. 범주화를 통하여 재혼가족부모의 역할경험에서 도출된 주제들은 모두 3개의 핵심범주와 14개의 하위 범주로 정리하였다. 연구결과로는 청소년기 자녀 재혼부모는 재혼 초기에 새로 시작한 로맨스, 준비 안 된 결혼, 정서적 애착보다는 외로움으로부터의 탈출을 원함, 재혼상대에 대한 불신과 갈등, 부모-새자녀 간 친밀감 부족, 재혼가족 간 삼각관계, 새부모로서의 권위·권한의 부재, 친부모에 대한 충성심 갈등, 시댁친족관계에서의 소외감, 전혼자녀에 대한 차별 및 취약한 사회적 연계망 등의 불안정성이 존재함을 알 수 있었다. 반면에 남편에 대한 신뢰와 지지를 바탕으로 소속감과 연대의식이 형성된 한 가족으로 거듭 태어나는 새부모역할의 긍정적 경험도 갖게 됨을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는 새부모의 역할에 대한 가족복지적 개입의 필요성을 강조하였으며 이에 따라 재혼부모의 스트레스 감소방안에 대한 필요성, 재혼준비 교육 프로그램, 예비재혼부부 프로그램 및 재혼가족관계 강화프로그램을 제안하였다. 이러한 재혼가족을 위한 프로그램들은 재혼가족의 역기능은 예방하고 순기능은 기능적으로 작동하는 데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is trying to analyze the stepparenting role experiences of stepfamilies with adolescent stepchildren at home by qualitative case studies. The subjects of this study were nine remarried couples with adolescent stepchildren such as middle and senior high school students selected through purposeful sampling and interviewed in depth. Qualitative case researches revealed three major categories and 14 sub categories related to the step-parenting role experiences: the unstable starts(newly beginning romances, lack of preparation in remarriage, escape from loneliness without emotional attachment), factors of negative role experiences as step-parents(mistrust or conflict toward remarriage spouses, lack of intimacy between parent-stepchild relationship, triangulation between step-family members, loyalty conflict to biological parents, lack of authority and power as step-parents, exclusion from husband's family, vulnerable social networks, spouse's differentiation to a child), and factors of positive role experiences as step-parents(spousal support and trust toward a husband, expectation and trust toward biological children, confirmation for belonging and united consensus).
Based on these researches, there are given the theoretical and practical recommendations for necessity of family welfare intervention to the stepparenting role such as stepfamily education program, or remarriage preparation program
