예비음악교사 양성기관의 교육실습체제 비교연구: 한국과 미국을 중심으로 = A Study of Student Teaching Practicum Program for Music Teachers in Middle School: focused on Korea and the United States

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The Purpose of this study is to analyze the student teaching practicum program for music teachers in middle school emphasizing on the system of the Republic of Korea and the United States. Based on the result of the analysis, finally this study will support the development of the effective student teaching practicum program in Korea.
For this purpose, music education department of 10 teacher's college in Korea and 4 music education department in the United States were selected and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, the student teaching program of music education department in the United States is more systematic and various than that in music education department in Korea and has more strict standards to take student teaching practicum program. Based on this result, five dimensions of suggestions were mentioned to improve the quality of student teaching practicum program in Korea.
First of all, the extension of the period of student teaching and increase of the credits for student teaching is needed. The curriculum related to the observation music teaching and learning is needed before performing the student teaching. The orientation, on-going education, and post-education for the effective and systematic student teaching program are demonstrated in detail. In addition, the requirement for the taking student teaching and teaching certification has to be fortified. Finally, It is necessary to have open lines of communication between the co-op teacher and the university supervisor regarding the student.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 음악교사 교육에서 교사의 실천적 지식을 확장시켜줄 수 있는 교육실습 내용 및 운영 실태에 대한 연구가 미흡하다는 점에 주목하고, 음악교사 교육의 특수성을 반영한 교육실습 프로그램을 모색하는 것이 필요하다는 점에서 출발하며, 이를 위하여 주(state)마다 다양한 교육실습 프로그램을 제공하고 있는 미국의 교육실습 내용의 분석을 중심으로 한국의 예비음악교사 교육실습프로그램의 개발에 방향을 제공하고자 하는 데 주목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위하여 우선, 한국의 대표적인 중등음악교사 양성기관인 사범대학 음악교육과의 교육실습체제 및 운영 실태를 비교하고, 다양성으로 대표되는 미국대학 음악교육과의 교육실습체제 및 운영 실태를 분석하였다. 분석결과를 바탕으로 문제점 개선을 위한 방향을 첫째, 교육실습 기간의 연장과 실습학점의 증가의 필요성, 둘째, 교육실습 전 현장을 경험할 수 있는 관찰 및 참관수업 관련 과목의 개설, 셋째, 체계적인 교육실습을 위한 사전교육, 실습중 교육, 사후교육의 구체적인 내용의 확립, 넷째, 교육실습 자격 요건의 강화, 다섯째, 협력학교 교사와 대학전공교수, 그리고 예비음악교사와의 밀접한 관계의 형성으로 제시하였다.
