The purpose of this study was to delve into the meaning of truth in Taekwondo. It's specifically attempted to discuss the relationship of the truth of the East to that of Taekwondo, the meaning of truth in Taekwondo and what Taekwondo ultimately pursued. The findings of the study were as follows. First, Taekwondo was closely related to fighting techniques. Having learners acquire techniques of high difficulty through repeated rudimentary training has fueled the development of Taekwondo techniques. Taekwondo is one of martial arts to protect oneself from an enemy just by using his or her bare fists and feet without carrying any weapons. Second, the truth of Taekwondo should be discussed from an ethical, moral perspective to produce decent people and stress the positives of it. Taekwondo has successfully be received by the West owing to its Oriental moral standard, thoughts and spirits. That has contributed to conveying the ethics, morality, thoughts and spirits of the East to Western societies marked by egoism and individualism, and that could eventually have a good impact on education.
