This article aims to review the latest studies that combine biology and political science. The biopolitics, the term that is generally used to describe this new trend in political science, is the product of researchers’ effort to study political behavior with the methodology and theories from different disciplines such as evolutionary psychology, neurology, endocrinology, physiology, biological anthropology, and zoology. The biopolitics has shown us that much of our political behavior is determined by genetics. Also, the biopolitics is expected to expand our understanding in the studies of political institutions, rational choice, international relations, and comparative politics.
