문학치료가 초등학생 공감능력에 미치는 효과 = Effects of literary therapy, on empathy ability for elementary school students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study investigates the effect of literary therapy on empathy ability for elementary school students. The purpose of this study is to verify the effects of literary therapy, which is one of literary therapy, on ability, especially for children who lack empathy ability. empathy is the starting point of interpersonal relationships and the core of communication. Especially, children’s empathy during the growth period has a great influence on self-confidence, self-concept, and self-image formation. Literary therapy for elementary school students has the advantage of allowing them to naturally approach their inner world and to reach the enthusiastic and positive emotion that they did not know about. So far, literacy therapy for children has mostly focused on the improvement of self-concept, self-efficacy, and self-esteem. However, there have been very few studies conducted on the improvement of empathy ability. Although study examines the effects of literary therapy on children's empathy, it should be expanded and deepened in various perspectives for the future studies.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 문학치료 프로그램이 초등학생의 공감능력에 미치는 효과에 관한논문이다. 연구는 참여한 초등학생의 공감능력을 향상시키는데 효과적이었으며, 특히 사회적 관계 맺기에서 어려움을 겪는 초등학생들에게 타인에 대한 이해와원만한 대인관계를 형성하는 데 필요한 공감능력의 폭과 지수가 높아지는 등 유의미한 성과가 있었으며, 공감능력의 하위영역 중 인지적, 의사소통적 공감능력을 향상시키는데 효과적이고, 정서적 공감능력을 향상은 유의미하지 않았지만프로그램 실시 전 후 자료에서는 긍정적인 효과를 검증하였다.
또한 이 논문은 아동을 대상으로 한 기존의 연구가 자아개념, 자기효능감, 자아존중감 향상에 관한 연구가 중심이어서 공감능력 향상에 관한 연구가 다소 미흡한 실정이었는데, 이 부분에 미치는 효과를 검증한 점에서 연구의 의의가 있다. 날로 아동청소년들의 정신건강이 위협받는 상황에서 문학치료 프로그램과같은 아동정서발달에 유용한 프로그램들이 지속적으로 확산되어야 함을 일깨웠다는 점에서도 교육당국의 정책개발과 집행에 시사하는 바가 있을 것이다.
