Questionnaires were delivered to them and only the completed 121 out of 150 questionnaires were processed for statistical analysies. Means and standard deviations were calculated and t-test were undertaken to answer research questions. The research findings were summarized as follows: First, the frequency of safety accidents were relatively lower in early childhood settings. Second, teachers maintenance of a Safe environment were relatively good. Third, preschool teachers overall did not provide safety education very often. Fourth, when teachers` maintenance of safe environments were examined to see how much they affect the occurrence of safety accidents, teachers who maintained safe environments more often had fewer accidents than teachers who did less often.
