Magnetic thin film inductors are designed and febricated which have operating frequencies over 10 ㎒ and several hundred nh of inductance suiable for ICs. To calculate magnetic field and magnetic flux densit of the devices, 3 dimensional as well as 2 dimensional Finite Element Method (FEM) is used. Thin film inductors are designed by computer simulaion to have the best performances. Rebrication of the devices utilize vacuum deposition of various films and photolithographic processes which are commomly used in semiconductor processes. The performance of the febricated inductors are analyzed by Impedance analyzer and Ntwork analyzer for measuring inductance and resistance and obtaining Q.
