[특집]선교와 신학 : 윌리엄 베어드의 삶과 사역에 나타난 신학과 사상에 관한 연구 = Study on the Theology and Ideology Appeared in the Life and Ministry of William Baird

In this paper, I will study Baird`s theological thought and its features based on his ministry. At first, I will historically investigate his ministry: Upbringing and education in America, Missions in Busan and Daegu, Education ministry at Soongsil University of Pyongyang, and Christian literature ministry ect. After that, I will deal with his theological thought and its features appeared in his ministry in Korea. In particular, this paper will analyze his evangelistic ministry, education ministry, and his writings and translations. Through these actions, I will assert that Baird`s theology have the classic-evangelical theology of Old school tradition and the Pietistic-evangelical theology of New school tradition in Presbyterian church of USA, the fundamental-evangelical theology appeared at the Prophecy and Bible Conference in the 19th century, and the evangelical-ecumenical theology affected by D. L Moody.
