The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between mother's rearing attitude and children's peer-status and self-perception.
In this study, we can consider below three questions.
First, is there any difference between children's peer status and self-perception of social competence?
Second, is there any difference between peer-status and mother's rearing attitude?
Third, can we find a relationship between mother's rearing attitude and children's self-perception of social competence?

For this study, questionnaire for mother's rearing attitude was administered, and sociometric test and self-perception test for social competence were conducted. collected data was analyzed with ANOVA to define relations between the difference of self-perception for social competence according to peer-status and the difference of mother's rearing attitude, and correlation analysis to find the relationship between mothers rearing attitude and children's self-percepson.
The results of the analysis were as follows.
First, popular group more positively perceives self-perception for social competence than rejected group. In lower area, popular group's children perceive more receptive feeling by peer group than neglected group and rejected group.
