권력통제이론의 관점에서 본 청소년 비행의 성별 차이에 영향을 미치는 요인 -한국청소년 패널조사(KYPS) 5개년 데이터 활용- = The Factors of Gender Gap in Juvenile Delinquency based on The Power-Control Theory

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research examines the relation of gender gap, family structure, instrumental control, risk-taking preference, sex identity, delinquency peer and juvenile delinquency. The evidence of a strong relation of gender and juvenile delinquency is well known through many empirical researches. But causes bring about gender gap within juvenile delinquency have been passed over in these researches. Power-control theory have attention to the family structure as these factors. Power-control theory supporters suggest that position of parents in the workplace is not separated from authority of parents within home. In other words occupational authority of parents affects on power of parents at home. Parental control is various on the power of parents and this control operates as form of supervision or monitoring. Parental control operates between sons and daughters disproportionately and this factors affect on gender gap in risk-taking preference. Thus gender gap in juvenile delinquency is generated.
