Maritime labor so called seamen has a structural and qualitative characteristic compared with land labor. Therefore, seamen must be specially protected in a respect of the conclusion, the continuation and the legal relation according to termination of labor relationship, Nonetheless seamen are protected with the level that was not more enough than general workers in employment conditions and social welfare policy. That is, the rights about the lowest wages, the overdue wages, the unemployment protection. a disaster reward are those.
The aim of this study is to protect seamen and induce to charm of seaman occupation by consideration of the particularity of maritime labor more proper legislation and interpretation of seaman labor-related laws.
