호모 센텐티애(Homo Sententiae)로서의 인간과 의미요법(Logotherapy)의 목회상담적 적용에 대한 연구 = A Study on the Person as “Homo Sententiae” and Pastoral Counseling Application to Logotherapy

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this academic paper is to investigate Viktor E. Frankl`s “Logotherapy” and present the meaning of life and the value of life to those who suffer from the existential problems of life. The method of this study is to introduce lot of books (which are) related to the issue of logotherapy and then deal with a case study for pastoral counseling approach. The originality of this academic research is to introduce an academic title, that is to say, “Homo Sententiae.” This title comes from Latin and means that human being is meaning-seeking being or meaning-seeking person. As Nietzsche says “He who has a why to live can bear almost any how.” those who seek to find the meaning of life can bear and live even in the terrible suffering or situation. The contribution of this thesis is to present Frankl`s key concepts of logotherapy such as “the Freedom of Will, the Will to Meaning and the Meaning of Life” as well as the clinical methods like “Paradoxical Intention and de-reflection.” Additionally, this academic paper can be used those who suffer in the midst of various and difficult problems of life. Especially, this paper can be applied to those who suffer from “Seweolho” accident which suddenly sank near “Jindo” sea on April 16, 2014 in South Korea.
