農業産學協同의 强化方案에 關한 硏究 = The Effective Horizontal Cooperation Among Agricultural Institutions

The study were conducted to research the effective ways of horizontal cooperation among agricultural institutions through reviewing the cooperation in the countries advanced in agriculture and the present cooperation in Korea.
The data of the study were collected by the questionnaire method to 73 professors of agricaltural colleges, 88 professional resiarch and extenision staffs in Korea, and 5 professors and research specialist in advanced countries. The data were added by the interview method to 13 Korean professors and research speialists who were studied abroad in the advanced countries and the reference of literatures related to the cooperations.
The results of the study and the recommendations were a follows:
1. The horizontal cooperation among agricultural institutions in Korea has been developed gradually but there were not few problems to be improved in the cooperation.
2. United States, German, Australia, Norwey and Japan did not make such the cooperation act as the Joint Council Act of Horizontal Cooperation among Agricultural Institutions in Korea but they have emphasized the cooperation through policies and acts their individual institutions, and they have cooperated spontaneously, individually and manifoldly among their institutions.
3. It was first step in the cooperation to build the fundamental attitude of mutural respect and acceptance among the individuals and the institutions.
4. The professors should be more participated in the common research projects and the joint appointment roles in O.R.D.,but it might be better that the degree of the participation could be differrnt according to the nature of the common and joint projects or the individual conditions of the participants.
5. The research and extension staffs of O.R.D., should be distributed a certain role to the jointly appointed professors in order to induce their participation.
6. The effectiveness of the support and service research project has beef gradually increasing but it was not enough high. It is desirable that the Agricultural Cooperation Research Fund Systems are operated diversely in tems of the research period, and the ammount of research fund.
7. The agricultural colleges have to effort to be more participated in college student teaching and seminar by the research and extension staffs of O.R.D.
8. It is desirable that the in-service workers can have more opportunities for the graduate study, and the scholorship and assistsnceship systems ard extended, as well as the season graduate school or the special graduate schools are established for the advanced study of the in-service workers.
