설화를 활용한 자기성찰의 글쓰기 방법 실행 연구 = An Action Research of Self-reflection Method through Folktales

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This research starts from the reflection on the previous study, which mainly focused on the analysis on contents of writings. In order to design a new method of writings, it is not sufficient to merely analyze the result of writing. Furthermore it is needed to produce a practical knowledge, which is necessary from the planning stage on writing to specific procedures of actual writings. Therefore, this research suggests a revised and supplemented action plan on self -reflection writing process based on experiences and reflection on previous writing practice courses, by choosing an action research as a methodology. Moreover, in the course of the new plan being implemented, the study describes experiences of the researcher. Similarly it also attempts to concretely demonstrate writings of students and their reactions by presenting three cases
The main activity, which added in this new writing plan, was ‘ a secondary continuous writing’. Through actual writing practices, it is discovered that ‘a secondary continuous writing’ model provides the opportunity for participants to safely test their changes and growth in fictional stories and also encourages them to ponder the specific ways of bringing changes in their lives. The activity enables participants explore a different variety of stories other than stories that is familiar and dominant for them and is also significant in terms of stimulating the possibility of testing new stories. Therefore, this research concludes that in the next study, it is strongly recommend that producing a method, which can foster these changes and enhance the completeness.
