어린이집 적응과정에 나타난 만 1세 영아의 체험연구 = Hermeneutic Phenomenological Understanding on Lived Experience of Toddlers in the Adaptation Process in Child-Care Center

This qualitative research used a hermeneutic phenomenological approach to discover meanings in the lived experience of toddlers while adaptation in a child-care center.
The purpose of this qualitative research is to understand how toddlers adapt in child-care center in the course of transition to child-care center from home.
For doing this research, I was guided by Van Mannen's coherent observation method.
The participants of this research were totally 23 toddlers over the age of 1(12 months) and 6 teachers in the class at the Jindallea Child-Care Center.
Essential themes of toddler's experiences emerged ;
․Fancy space
․Strange space without Mom
․Rejecting to enter the class
․Refusing everything, only shout “Mom”
․Instead of Mom
․Watching the teacher's face carefully
․Waiting for the teacher's care
․Like the teacher more than Mom

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 만 1세 영아가 가정에서 어린이집으로 이행되어 적응하는 과정을 해석학적 현상학의 관점에서 밀착관찰을 통하여 기술하고 이해하여 영아의 체험을 유추해 보고자 시도한 바, 여덟 개의 주제들을 발견하였다.
첫째, 어린이집은 신기한 공간. 둘째, 엄마 없는 낯선 공간. 셋째, 영아반 입구에서 들어오지 않으려고. 넷째, 점심․간식 어느 것도 먹지 않고 “어마(엄마)”. 다섯째, 엄마를 대신하는 것들. 여섯째, 교사의 얼굴을 찬찬히 살펴보고. 일곱째, 교사의 손길을 기다리며. 여덟째, 엄마는 본 척도 하지 않고 교사에게.
