新羅 禪房寺塔誌에 對한 淺見 = A Study of Silla Seonbangsa Pagoda Record

국문 초록 (Abstract)

禪房寺塔誌에 대해서는 日政때 경주 남산의 선방곡에서 출토되었다는 사실과 신라 금석문을 언급하면서 판독문만 소개되는 등 소략한 내용만 알려졌으나, 탑지연구와 사리장엄구 연구에 많은 자료가 되므로 매우 큰 의의가 있다고 하겠다. 그러나 이와 같은 중요성에도 불구하고 塔誌의 명문과 형태에 대한 구체적인 해석이 없었으며 함께 출토되었던 銀板(銀鋌) 이 있었다는 사실조차 看過되어 오고 있었다.
이 글에서는 선방사탑지의 사진과 복원도를 제시하였고 최초의 報告者가 쓴 자료를 再分柝 하는 등 지금까지 언급되지 않았던 제반 문제에 대하여 살펴보았다. 특히 판독문 가운데 '--練治--'를 '練冶--'로 잘못 알려진 것을 지적하였으며, 銀鋌이 舍利莊嚴具로 함께 奉納된 사실을 통하여 貨幣가 사리장엄구로 봉납된 최초의 예가 된다는 점에 대해서도 알아보았다. 또한 禪房谷 三彿寺 경내의 석탑의 연대를 어느 정도나마 가늠할 수 있게 된 점도 작은 성과라고 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

It is known that Seonbangsa pagoda record was excavated at Seonbanggok of Mt. Namsan, Gyeongju, during the period of the Japanese Occupation, and its interpretation has been introduced only when Silla epigraphy has been mentioned. But Seonbangsa pagoda record is a very important material for researching pagoda record and Sarira Offerings. In spite of the fact, the inscription and form of Seonbangsa pagoda record has not been interpreted concretely yet, and we have failed a notice that a silver disc was excavated with it.
This paper presents the photograph and the reconstruction of Seonbangsa pagoda record and reanalyses the materials of the first reporter. Especially, I point out that among the interpretations, yeonya(練冶) has been mistaken for yeonchi(練治) and the coin was dedicated as Sarira offering on the ground that a silver disc was dedicated with Sarira offering. It is a small result that we can know the construction date of the stone pagoda at Sambulsa, Seonbanggok.
