학습자 중심 교육과정 운영을 위한 체험학습의 활성화 조건탐색 = A Study on the Conditional of Experiential Learning for Learner Curriculum Operation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to search conditions activating the experiential learning as a strategy of learner-centered curriculum operation. Such conditions are proposed through discussion on the character of learner-centered curriculum, the theory and practice of experiential learning.
First of all, the characters of learner-centered curriculum are reviewed in diversity. And theory of experiential learning includes real object education theory, experiential theory and activity curricular, and constructivistic perspective. In addition to it, in the practice of experiential learning, domestic and foreign experiential learning are searched.
As a result, the following conditions are needed to manage effectively experiential learning: the operation of experiential learning in relation to curriculum, interaction between instructor and learner, positive participation and attention of related persons, diversification of opportunity and place in experiential learning, activating experiential learning in real life, support of public finance, and concept transformation on experiential learning.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 학습자 중심 교육과정 운영의 한 방안으로서 체험학습의 활성화를 위한 조건을 탐색하는데 있다. 이를 위해 학습자 중심 교육과정의 특성 및 체험학습의 이론과 실제에 대한 논의를 통해 체험학습의 활성화를 위한 조건을 제안하였다. 먼저 학습자 중심 교육과정의 특징을 다각도로 검토하였다. 그리고 체험학습 관련 이론에서는 1900년대 이전의 실물교육론, 1900년대 전후의 경험이론과 활동중심 교육 및 1980년대 전후의 구성주의적 관점을 살펴보았다. 아울러 체험학습의 실제에서는 우리나라의 체험학습과 외국의 체험학습을 개관하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 체험중심 교육과정이 성공적으로 운영되기 위해서는 교육과정과 연계된 체험학습의 운영, 교수자와 학습자의 상호작용, 관련 이해 당사자들의 적극적인 참여와 관심, 체험학습의 기회 및 장소의 다양화, 생활중심 체험교육의 활성화, 체험학습 운영을 위한 재정적 지원, 체험학습에 대한 인식의 전환 등이 전제되어야 할 것임을 제안하였다.
