Purpose The present study aims to reveal the role of a digital growth mindset in the relationships among digital dexterity, digital happiness, and innovative behavior. The objective of this study is to ascertain the direction in which digital technologies influence personal life and human psychology predicts behavior by analyzing digital dexterity and digital happiness.
Design/methodology/approach This study designed a research model by integrating factors derived from digital dexterity with factors derived from psychological well-being and subjective well-being of positive psychology. This research was distributed to individuals via an online Google Form survey. Of the 208 responses received, 203 were used for the analysis, excluding four non-response and one unfaithful response excluded. The analysis tools used were IBM SPSS 19.0 and SmartPLS 4.0
Findings this study confirmed that digital dexterity was found to significantly impact digital happiness and innovative behavior. Similarly, digital happiness was found to significantly impact innovation behavior. A digital growth mindset was also found to significantly impact digital dexterity. However, the digital growth mindset was not found to control the relationship between digital dexterity and innovation behavior. The study is expected to provide valuable data for researchers, educators, and policymakers exploring the complex intersection of competencies and happiness related to digital technology.
