민주주의 사상과 전통 사상의 만남 : 사회 통합적 기능을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

민주주의 사상이 인간을 이성적 존재로 보고 사회는 이러한 이성적 개인의 집합체에 불과하며, 따라서 사회란 명목에 지나지 않으며 실재하는 것은 개인 뿐이라고 생각하는 데 대하여 전통유교사상에서는 사회는 개인에 앞서 실재하는 존재로 보고, 사회는 개인의 욕망과 행동을 통제하는 수단으로 도덕규범을 내면화시킬 것을 요구함으로써 인간의 본질을 도덕성에서 찾으려는 노력과 더불어 인간을 도덕적 존재로 보는 인간관이 정착하게 되었던 것이다.
19세기 이후 유교 문화권 국가에 수입된 민주주의 사상이 전통사상과 평화로운 해후를 이루지 못하고 충돌하고 相剋할 수밖에 없었던 것은 이상과 같이 두 사상의 인간관, 사회관 서로 상반된 시각에서 교차하였기 때문이라고 하겠다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Many antibiotics contain partially deoxygenated sugar components that are usually essential for biological activity, affinity, structural stability, and solubility of antibiotics. Gene probes of the biosynthetic genes related with the deoxysugar were obtained from PCR. Primers were designed from the conserved peptide sequences of the known dTDP-o-glucose 4,6-dehydratases, which are the key step enzymes in the biosynthesis of deoxysugar. The primers were applied to amplify parts of dehydratase genes to 27 actinomycetes that produce the metabolites containing deoxysugar as structural constituents. About 180 and340 bp DNA fragments from all of the actinomycetes were produced by PCR and analyzed by Southern blot and DNA sequencing. The PCR products were used as gene probes to clone the biosynthetic gene clusters for the antibiotic mithramycin, rubradirin, spectinomycin, and elaiophyrin. This method should allow for detecting of the biosynthetic gene clustery of a vast array of secondary metabolites isolated from actinomycetes because of the widespread existence of deoxysugar constituents in secondary metabolites.
