모바일 기기의 수용형태와 사용에 관한 연구 = PDA시스템을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

국내외적으로 기업에서 모바일 시스템 활용을 위한 시스템 통합 프로젝트가 급속하게 확산될 것으로 예상되고 있음에도 불구하고 기존에 수행된 모바일 시스템의 수용 및 활용 효과에 관한 연구는 국내외적으로 미진한 상태이다. 본 연구는 대표적인 모바일 기기인 PDA 시스템의 기업 내 수용과정을 알아보고 수용에 미치는 영향 요인들을 조사하고자 하였다. 특히 본 연구에서는 기존의 자발적 기술 수용 연구에서 발견되는 현상을 비자발적 기술 수용 현상과 비교해 보고자 하였다. 연구 결과에 따르면 기술 수용에 관한 선행연구에서 사용한 연구 변수의 결과는 기존의 연구 결과와 결과논증가능성을 제외하고 대체로 유사하게 나타났다. 즉 자기효능과 흥미에 관한 결과는 자발적 사용자 그룹과 비자발적 사용자 그룹 모두에게 선행연구 결과와 일치하고 있었다. 또한 높은 직업 적합성(professional fit)은 두 PDA 사용자 그룹 모두에게 시스템의 유용성 높게 인식하도록 할 수 있다고 나타났다. 그러나 모바일 시스템의 특성은 사용자의 사용 자발성 정도에 따라 시스템의 유용성과 용이성이 다르게 지각될 수 있음을 본 연구 결과는 보여주고 있다. 사용자 교육은 전체적으로 사용의 용이성에 긍정적인 영향을 주고 있으나 비자발적 사용자 그룹에서 더욱 의미 있는 결과가 나타났다. 또한 기술지원은 예상과 달리 용이성에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으며 특히 자발적 사용자 그룹에서 심각한 것으로 나타났다.
