The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between young children`s peer competence, temperament and teacher-child relationship. The subjects were 286 Day care Center children in D city. The collected data were analyzed by Pearson`s r and multiple regression using the SPSS/PC Computer Program. The major results of this study were as follows; First, there were significant positive relationship between young children`s peer competence, temperament and teacher-child relationship. Second, temperament and peer competence was positive factor in predicting temperament and teacher-child relationship. In conclusion, the result of this study confirmed that young children`s temperament and teacher-child relationship are important factors in predicting young children`s peer competence. Implications for future research and practices recurrently being discussed.
