      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      The purpose of this study was to investigate the current state and the recognition of principals, teachers and mothers about English education in the educare center. For this, the investigator conducted a questionnaire survey of 75 principals and 100 teachers of educare centers and 251 mothers who sent their child to the educare centers in Daejeon areas. Study findings were as follows: First, The English education was conducted by the parents demand. Parents` and children`s interest about the English education were very high. It appeared that the mainly teaching contents were song and chant and the mainly teaching materials were the picture materials during the English education. The child care topics and the English educational topics were partially consistent, most of the English teachers were part-time jobs and their major were English in the university. Second, the teacher`s satisfaction about the English education was higher than mother`s and it appeared that the difference of recognition about the frequency and the time of the English education according to the young children age among the principals, the teachers, the mothers. The other side, the principals, the teachers and the mothers wanted to correspond with the English education topics and the child care topics. Also, they prefered the teacher`s competence to the foreign teachers.
