Chinese characters, established as characters of Chinese Dynasties, actually entail yet another paradox. While it is often believed that the Dynasties used characters, the opposite may also be true. That is, characters were not used by Chinese Dynasties but rather, it was the characters that used the Chinese Empires. The characters, which originated from Xia(夏), Shang(商), and Zhou(周) Dynasties, evolving through the QinHan(秦漢) Dynasties, and reaching the Chinese Dynasty of today, have reigned over the Chinese Dynasties throughout Chinese civilization. Where does this power come from? Chinese characters eliminate the diversity of the world of phonetic representation while ensuring acceptance of time and space of communication. This is demonstrated again by the fact that even modern day China has various geographical sections with respective dialects. Such characteristics of Chinese characters have been advantageous for China to expand its civilization`s rule, while establishing a regime of political and cultural reign. Furthermore, these characters have significance as an origin and archetype of a multi-race, multi-culture, integrated culture. Their meaning as an archetype always survived even if the ruler of the empire changed, and was transformed and transmitted to adapt to new environments. Such power is an ability of acceptance and transformation that originates from the space of an image, and can be described as successive dynamism.
