여성 구술생애사로 본 한국의 근대: 분단, 개발, 탈식민의 경험과 기억

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 크게 ‘여성 구술생애사 연구의 심화’, ‘주제연구’, ‘구술채록’, ‘구술자료 수탁 및 아카이브화’, ‘<근대와 여성의 기억 아카이브> 구축’, ‘학술회의 및 포럼 개최’, ‘해외 선진 아카이브 방문 조사’라는 일곱 분야로 구성된다. 5년간의 연구결과들이 젠더와 기억 총서 4권으로 발간되었다. 총서의 제목은 다음과 같다. [여성주의 역사쓰기: 구술사 연구방법](2012), [여성(들)이 기억하는 전쟁과 분단](2013), [‘조국 근대화’의 젠더정치: 가족·노동·섹슈얼리티](2015), [구술 아카이브의 구축 및 활용](2016, 근간].
1. 여성 구술생애사 연구의 심화: 한국과 서구에서 진행된 여성 구술생애사 논의를 토대로 여성 구술생애사 연구의 이론적, 방법론적 쟁점을 논의하여, 향후 여성 구술생애사 연구 방향을 모색하였다.
2. 주제연구: “분단과 젠더 질서의 재편”,및 “개발 시기 여성의 경험세계 변화”, “탈식민과 여성의 기억”, “구술 아카이브의 구축과 활용”이라는 4개의 주제로 진행하였다. 여성들의 구술생애사는 여성이 핵가족 이데올로기와 노동에 대한 근대적 기획, 섹슈얼리티 담론 및 정책 등을 체화하고 수행하는 방식을 보여주었다.
3. 구술채록: 1차년도 140시간 58분, 2차년도 140시간 5분, 3차년도 125시간 59분, 4차년도 111시간, 5차년도 120시간 10분을 구술채록하여, 총 638시간 12분의 구술자료를 수집, 정리하였다. 지속적인 여성 구술생애사 자료의 축적은 근대 및 여성 연구를 풍부히 하는 데 기여할 것이다.
4. 구술자료 수탁 및 아카이브화: 총 377시간(1차년도 102시간 35분, 2차년도 101시간 34분, 3차년도 102시간 42분, 4차년도 16시간, 5차년도 55시간)의 자료를 수탁받아, 본 연구의 형식에 맞도록 자료를 재생성하였다. 수탁받은 자료들을 본 연구의 아카이브 시스템을 통해 서비스함으로써 근대 여성의 삶과 경험에 관한 연구를 활성화하는 데 기여할 것이다.
5. <근대와 여성의 기억 아카이브> 구축: 여성 구술생애사 연구의 활성화 및 대중화의 토대를 마련하기 위해 국내 최초로 여성 구술 사료를 수집·관리·이용하기 위한 전문 아카이브인 <근대와 여성의 기억 아카이브>를 구축하는 것을 목적으로 하였다.
6. 학술회의 및 포럼 개최: 본 연구의 연구과정에서 연구의 질을 높이고 관련 연구의 대중적 관심을 불러일으키기 위해 정기 포럼 <젠더와 기억> 및 국내, 국제 학술회의를 개최하였다.
7. 해외 선진 아카이브 방문 조사: ‘근대와 여성의 기억 아카이브’의 모델 및 정보 서비스 체계 개발을 위한 선진 사례를 수집하고

This study is largely composed of seven fields: "Deepening of Women Oral History Research", "Theme Research", "Collecting oral history materials", "Oral History Document Consignment and Archiving", "Construction of <Women's Oral History Archives in Korea>", "Held the Conferences and Forums", "Visiting Foreign Advanced Archives". Results of five years research have been publishing in four volumes; [Feminist Oral History: Deconstructing Instututional Knowledge](2012), [Women's Memories, Alternative Voces: Korean War and National Division](2013), [National Development and Gender Politics: Family, Labor, and Sexuality](2015), [Construction of Oral History Archives and Utilization](2016, forthcoming).
1. Deepening of Women Oral History Research: explore the direction of the future study by discussing the theoretical and methodological issues on the basis of the women's oral history discussion that have been made in South Korea and Western countries.
