개혁주의 입장에서 본 성경의 영감과 무오에 관한 연구 = A Study on Inspiration and Inerrancy of the Bible in the Reformed Perspectives

From 18th century, the Western theological community started completely denying or distorting the biblical inspiration and inerrancy. The rational theology that considers reason for superior to revelation prevailed, and this began excluding the biblical inspiration and inerrancy, causing some doubt about the supernatural events of the Bible. The inerrancy of the Bible was considered as irrational product. The proclamation that the Old and New Testament is the Word of God, the only law of faith and behavior was ignored. The biblical discordance, non-science, and non-historicity were emphasized and the Israeli faith is regarded as one of the old religions over the history of the near east Asia. As the faith that the Bible is perfect with no errancy of one jot or one tittle disappeared, the churches built at the base of the Bible have begun to crumble. As a number of churches in Europe were changed into synagogues, mosques, restaurants, cafes, or department stores, they started being on the decline. This chaos seems to be due to the liberal view on the Bible. According to what kind of biblical view people have, they are divided into evangelists and liberalists. The Reformed biblical view believes that the Word of God is equal to the Bible. That is, the Bible is considered as the Word of God; what the Bible says, God says. Therefore, this paper is aimed at building and demonstrating the authority of the Bible when it is challenged and questioned by a number of people in and out the church. Moreover, this sets a goal at being the guideline to be able to return to a God-oriented theology instead of a human-oriented.
