결혼 시장의 양극화, 솔로화 사회- 가키야 미우(垣谷美雨)의 『うちの子が結婚しないので』에 투영된 결혼 시장 - = Polarization of the Marriage Market, Society Becoming Solo: Focusing on the Marriage Market Structure Projected in Miu Kakiya's Work

국문 초록 (Abstract)

생애주기의 필수 코스였던 결혼제도는 이제 개인의 선택으로 전환되었다. 누구나 결혼하는 보편혼(普遍婚) 사회의 통념은 사라지고 생애미혼율은 계속 증가추세이다. 자의에 의해서든 타의에 의해서든 솔로를 선택한 사람들의 삶의 방식, 사회적 유대와 고민이 필요한 시기가 족을 정의하는 방식도 달라져야 한다. 본 논문은 작가 가키야 미우(垣谷美雨)의 작품 속에 투영된 결혼 시장의 양극화, 솔로화하는 사회에 대해서 분석해 보았다. 비혼화가 진행되는 것은 개인의 의식, 가치관 때문만은 아니다. 경제 상황이나 고용시장을 포함한 사회 환경의 변화가 주는 영향이 오히려 더 크다. 가키야 미우는 대리 맞선이라는 장치를 통해 결혼이라는 제도 가 가진 부당함, 불합리함을 딸 도모미가 아닌 엄마 지카코의 시선으로 그려낸다. 비혼인 사람들은 과연 스스로 솔로가 되기를 원한 것인가 아니면 그렇게 될 수밖에 없는가에 대한 현 세태에 대해 물음표를 던진다. 솔로화로 야기되는 다양한 사회문제를 방치한 일본은 ‘가족 격차 사회’를 향해 나아가고 있다. 사회적 제도의 대전제가 바뀌지 않는다면 솔로화 사회로 이행되는 시점에서 고립되는 사람들은 점점 늘어날 것이다. 혈연과 결혼뿐인 사회에서 다양한 관계들을 제도적으로 인정하고 새로운 유대를 위한 사회적 장치가 그 어느 때 보다 필요한 시기이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The marriage system of Japan, which was considered an essential course in the life cycle, has now been converted into an individual choice. The conventional wisdom in society that “everyone gets married” is disappearing and the lifetime rate of single adults continues to gradually increase. The way of life of those who choose to be single, whether voluntarily or unwillingly, and the way they define family, social ties and concerns is also changing. This thesis analyzes the polarization of the marriage market and solo society, reflected in the works of the artist Kakiya Miu. Non-marriage is progressing not only because of individual consciousness and values but also on the impact of changes in the social environment, including the economic situation as well as the employment market. Miu Kakiya depicts the injustice and irrationality of the marriage system through the device of proxy matching, not from the daughter Tomomi, but from the mother Jikako's point of view. Unmarried people throw a question mark about the current state of affairs as to whether they really wanted to be single themselves or whether they had no choice but to do so. Japan, which has neglected various social problems caused by soloization, is moving toward a “family gap society.” If the premise of the social system does not evolve, the number of people isolated at the point of transition to a solo society will gradually increase. In a society where there is only blood and marriage, it is a time when various relationships are institutionally recognized and social devices for new bonds are needed more than ever.
