동아시아 트랜스내셔날 액션영화와 폭력: 1950-70년대 한국‧홍콩‧일본영화의 통국가적 교류와 정치적 적대 표상을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 1950년 이후 70년대에 이르기까지 한국, 홍콩, 일본 세 지역의 액션영화를 대상으로 소위 냉전 아시아의 문화장의 형성과 그 전개과정을 탐구한다. 일본, 한국, 홍콩이라는 제국과 식민지, 점령지로 얽힌 역사-기억, 전후 냉전체제의 한쪽 진영인 미국 주도의 ‘자유 아시아’ 진영이라는 정치경제적 공통 블록이라는 두 가지 전제는 이 세 지역의 문화산물에 관한 이해가 일국적 관점에서는 해결되지 않는다는 것을 보여준다. 특히 이 지역의 액션영화를 대상으로 개별 국민국가의 형성의 문제와 여기에 개입되어 있는 제국-식민지의 기억의 문제, 여기에 냉전 아시아라는 광역권이 어떻게 규정적인 힘으로 작동하는지를 밝히고자 하였다.

This study explores the formation of the Cold War Asia Culture Field and the development process of action movies from Korea, Hong Kong, and Japan from 1950 to the 1970s. These three regions were connected by history-memories and political and economic common block of the US-led "Free Asia". Therefore cultural products of these regions is not solved from a national perspective. Especially, I tried to clarify the problem of the formation of the nation state and the problem of memory of the empire - colony involved in the action movies in this region, and how the wide area of ​​Cold War Asia operates with the regulatory force.
