2022 개정 교육과정과 고교학점제의 전면 시행에 따른 연극 수업 프로그램 설계 및 지도방안 연구 : 일반고등학교 보통교과 연극 수업을 중심으로 = The Design and Instructional Strategies of a Theater Class Program in Response to the Full Implementation of the 2022 Revised Korean Curriculum and the High School Credit System : Focusing on Theater Classes in General High School Core Curriculum

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 2022 개정 교육과정과 고교학점제의 전면 시행을 앞두고 일반고등학교(이하 일반계고등학교)에서의 보통교과 연극 수업에 효과적으로 접근하기 위한 프로그램 설계 및 지도 방안을 탐구하고자 하였다.
연극 수업은 학생들이 타인과의 의사소통을 통해 협업과 책임감을 배울 수 있고, 창의력을 성장시킬 수 있으며, 청소년기에 필요한 감정 표현과 사회적 관계 형성을 돕는 중요한 도구로 작용한다. 하지만 비전공자인 일반고등학생들은 연극 수업에 대한 심리적 어려움을 느낄 가능성이 높고, 학교 현장에서는 적은 수업 시수에 대한 제약과, 일반고등학교 학생들을 대상으로 연극 수업을 하는 교사들의 전문성 부족 등의 어려움에 직면하고 있다.
본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 실제로 활용 가능한 융·복합 SAC(Short Acting Contents), 실툰(RealToon), 에코드라마(EcoDrama)라는 3가지 연극프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램은 연극적 특성을 살려 학생들이 자신의 감정과 신체를 활용해 다양한 상황 속 문제를 해결하도록 유도하고, 이를 통해 개인주의적 성향을 넘어선 협력적 관계 형성의 중요성을 학습하게 한다.
연구는 일반고등학교 비전공 학생을 대상으로, 2025년도에 시행될 새로운 교육과정과 부합하는 연극 수업 프로그램을 설계하고, 실제 교육 현장에 프로그램을 적용해 효과성을 검증하는 방식으로 진행되었다. 또한, 프로그램 설계의 토대가 되는 교육목표와 수업모형을 제시하고, 고등학생들이 연극을 통해 흥미와 접근성을 높일 수 있는 다양한 교수학습 전략을 논의하였다. 이를 통해 연극 수업을 처음 접한 청소년들에게 연극교육의 접근성을 높이고, 청소년의 전인적 성장에 기여하고자 한다.

This study aims to explore effective program designs and instructional strategies for theater classes in general high schools in anticipation of the full implementation of the 2022 Revised Korean Curriculum and the High School Credit System.
Theater classes serve as a crucial tool for students to learn collaboration and responsibility through communication with others, foster creativity, and aid in emotional expression and social relationship-building—skills essential during adolescence. However, non-major students in general high schools are likely to experience psychological challenges in engaging with theater classes. In addition, school settings face limitations such as limited class hours and a lack
of specialized teachers equipped to conduct theater classes for general high school students.
To address these issues, this study developed three practically applicable theater programs: Convergence SAC (Short Acting Contents), RealToon, and EcoDrama. These programs utilize theatrical characteristics to encourage students to address various situational challenges through the use of their emotions and bodies, thereby promoting the importance of collaborative relationships beyond individualistic tendencies.
The research targeted non-major students in general high schools, designing a theater class program that aligns with the 2025 curriculum. The study verified the effectiveness of these programs by applying them in actual educational settings. Additionally, it presented educational objectives and instructional models as foundational elements for program design and discussed various teaching and learning strategies to enhance accessibility and engagement in theater for general high school students. Through this approach, the study seeks to increase accessibility to theater education for students newly introduced to theater classes and contribute to the holistic growth of adolescents.
