The purpose of this study is to develop and validate a systematic and practical teaching strategy to enhance the career competence of college students. First, the literature on college career education and teaching strategies was analyzed. Second, in-depth interviews were conducted with current college career education teachers who have experienced career education at universities and whose job satisfaction is within the top 20% to identify the success factors of college career education teaching strategies. Third, the initial college career education teaching strategies derived from the literature review and in-depth interviews were revised through a Delphi survey of education experts. Fourth, we conducted a validity study on the finalized college career education teaching strategies with academic experts and field users. The results of the study showed that the college career education teaching strategy consists of five core elements: information provision, relationship building, capacity expansion, practical experience, and support, each of which focuses on supporting learners' self-directed career design and implementation. This study provides both academic contributions and practical applications by proposing a career education model that can be practically applied in college education. This study is significant in that it provides important implications for enhancing college students' career competencies and improving the quality of education.
