일반인이 지각하는 가족 내 역할 발달과업 연구 = A study on the Korean`s Family Role Developmental Tasks Perceived by General People

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 우리나라 일반인들이 생각하고 있는 한국인의 가족내 역할 발달과업을 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 자유 응답식 설문조사를 실시하고 그 결과에 대해 전문가 회의를 실시하여 전 연령층대별로 중요한 가족내 역할 발달과업의 목록을 작성하였다. 이를 기초로 가족내 역할 발달과업 설문지를 제작하고 201명의 성인남녀에게 제시된 항목들 각각에 대한 중요도를 표기하게 하였다. 연구 결과 우리나라 성인들은 각 연령층별로 다양한 가족내 역할 발달과업이 있으며, 그 과업들의 중요도와 과업의 구성이 다르다고 생각함을 알 수 있었다. 이를 발달단계별로 보면 초등학교 저학년까지는 부모, 형제, 자율, 전반적 생활 등이 고루 강조되나 그 이후 고등학교까지는 부모와의 관계와 자율적 생활이 크게 부각된다. 20대에는 전반적인 가족생활이 강조되며, 30대부터는 부부생활, 부모관계, 전반적 생활능력 등이 고루 중요시된다. 일반인들이 일상용어로 표현한 가족내 역할 발달과업을 정리한 본 연구의 결과는 가족생활교육이나 상담의 현장에서 기존의 가족발달이론이나 가족상담이론과 함께 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

This study is to explore the developmental tasks of role in family which Korean people have according to develpmental stages. 201 subjects participated in this study. Through the pilot study, the important developmental tasks of role in family were itemized according to develpmental stages. From these items, the developmental tasks of role in family questionnaire was made. The results were as follows: Korean people thought that each developmental stage has various developmental tasks of role in family, and the priorities and contents of the tasks are different by life stages. Parents, siblings, self regulation and general life are perceived as important until lower level elementary school, and relationship with parents and autonomy until high school. In twenties, general family life is important, and from thirties to old ages, couple relationship, parents-children relatioship, and general family life are important. The meaning of major results and the suggestions for youth counseling were discussed.
