ICAO adopted VOR(Very high frequency Omni-Range) as an international standard air navigation system and more than 2,000 VORs are installed allover the world. However, VOR signal could be affected by its circumstance like a mountainous area. Therefore this study intends to investigate how much VOR signal is affected by its circumstances. For that purpose, the performance of VORs are measured and analyzed by using an aircraft. The analyzed result will be applied and utilized in selecting and deciding to where the VOR system installed.
