      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The causes of organizational incivility and counterproductive work behavior(CWB)are of increasing interest to organizations. Our study extends neurocognitive research to the organizational arena and is to show how sleep deprivation leads to undesirable anti-social behaviors such as incivility or CWB at workplace. We used
data gathered in a field setting to build and test structural model about the effects of sleep deprivation on workplace deviances and the mediating roles of self-regulation.Using a heterogeneous sample of 221 employees, we conducted a structural equations modeling. The results from our studies show partial support for the idea
that the effects of sleep deprivation, when viewed from a cognitive resource depletion perspective, can lead to decreased self-regulation, which ultimately makes individuals more likely to commit organizational incivility and CWB.
Specifically, We found that the effect of sleep deprivation on dependent variables was mediated by the effects of self-regulation. In addition, we conducted a multi-group path analysis to generate separate subgroup models of male and female group. The results show that the sleep deprivation is related to self-regulation to a greater extent for female than for male workers. These findings shed light on the mechanisms underlying the relationships among
sleep deprivation, self-regulation, and diverse work deviances. Theoretical, practicalimplications as well as future directions and limitations are discussed.
