형태소 교체의 규칙성에 대하여 = On the regularity of Morpheme's Alternation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Generally the alternation of morpheme is divided into two classes, regular alternation and irregular alternation, according to the regularity of alternation. There have been suggested many criteria for judging the regularity, but two important problems remained. One is that we cannot capture the key point of alternation's regularity because they merely are absorbed in classifying the data. The other is that alternation's regularity is treated not as a matter of degree but as a matter of dichotomy. We give a new version for grouping the class of alternation's regularity. 1) whether alternation can be explained by phonological rule, 2) whether morphemes showing same alternation can be generalized by common feature, 3) whether the conditions of alternation can be generalized by common feature. These new criteria are related with phonological rule in generative phonology. In this frame we can grade the regularity of the alternation of morpheme.
