Chen Lunjiong’s Haiguowenjianlu records the humanistic and geographical content of Taiwan, the Malay Peninsula, Joseon, Japan, Ryukyu, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia. Haiguowenjianlu include the geographical status of China’s coastal areas, the key point of maritime transportation, the route from China to overseas, China’s perception of foreign countries, the process of Western powers’ invasion of Southeast Asia and the situation of Coast defence, and the role of Chinese in Southeast Asian countries.
Chen Lunjiong has been traveling in and out of the East and the West since he was young, following his father, Chen Yang.
