21세기 사회,‘소통’인문학의 길을 찾아 = The 21th Century Society and “Communication” Humanities

국문 초록 (Abstract)

오늘날 인문학의 위기는 현실과의 소통 부재에 있다. 근대 이후 인문학이 인문과학이 되려고 하면서 인문학은 현실과 소통하는 길을 상실해왔다. 인문학이 소통의 학문으로 태어나기 위해서는 수사학의 정신을 되살려내야 할 것이며, 이론과 현실이 제대로 호흡하도록 해야 할 것이다. 우리의 인문학의 연구와 교육은 적용, 비판, 창조의 과정을 충실히 이행하지 못함으로써 현실과 소통하는 인문학을 마련하지 못했다. 산 존재를 복제하고, 가상공간이 현실공간을 압도하고, 탈영토화와 탈경계화가 진행되는 오늘날의 복합적인 현실과 소통할 수 있는 인문학이 되기 위해서는 학제적 연구를 활성화하고, 매체와 텍스트의 관계, 변화된 장소와 시간 그리고 주체의 자리를 새롭게 정립해야 할 것이다. 특히 이 땅의 인문학은 수입학의 차원을 넘어 창조학으로 나아가야 할 것이며, 엘리트 중심의 인문학에서 소수자, 약자들의 고통에 참여하는 인문학이 되도록 해야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The crisis of the humanities lies in the fact that it did not enter into connection with the realities of our lives. Since modern times, the humanities have made efforts in order to be the human science. And so, the humanities has lost the way to communicate with the actual life. We must revive the spirit of rhetoric, and establish the communication of theory and realities. In our doing so, the human sciences can be the communication humanities. Our scholars didn't devote themselves to the process of application, critic, and creation in studies and educations of the humanities. We are living in the society which copies living things. And we are living in the network society. Here the real world is overwhelmed by the cyber world, and territory and boundary disappears and falls down. Today's humanities must study in the interdisciplinary way, reestablish the relation of media and texts, and treat the changed place, time and subject in order to communicate with these complex situations. Particularly, those who study the humanities in Korea have to proceed from the introducing humanities to the creative humanities, and from the humanities of the elite to the humanities of the outsider.
