“나노사회의 ‘파편화’(fragmentation) 현상과 공동체 약화에 관한 목회상담학적 연구 = Phenomenon of Fragmentation of Nano-Society and A Pastoral Counseling Study on Weakening of Community

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Kim Nan-do, a professor at Seoul National University, studies and presents Korean trends every year. This study aims to deal with the modern meaning of the word "nano-society" that he chose as one of the key keywords in 22 and the pastoral counseling perspective on it. What members of the nano-society are showing as figures in social change are families living alone, personalization of consumption patterns, closed hobbies, and isolation due to closed information sharing. Among these social characteristics, what this study sees with an uneasy perspective are the emotional problems experienced by the individuals who make up the nano-society and the resulting high suicide rate. What's more worrisome is the idea that we seem to be experiencing a society where even these fearful consequences that members of society are experiencing can be dismissed as personal problems. With this sense of crisis, this study analyzes the figurative meaning of nano-society he refers to and examines the cause from Charles Taylor's point of view. Using Taylor's terminology, the study believes that nanosocialism, which Professor Kim Nan-do refers to, is eventually in a state of "fragmentation" in which communities are divided and individuals experience a severe sense of extreme isolation. As a pastoral counseling response, this study suggests the meaning of Donald Capps' "hope" based on Christian tradition as an alternative. He says pastors should appear as "representatives of hope" for people in need in the context of counseling. This study aims to examine the implications. The study considers the answers to what hope he says means and what function it can play in nano-society. Furthermore, we will deal with what the specific application point of hope that Capps says can be so that hope does not simply become a groundless cry that makes us see the situation ideally. From that point of view, this study specifically examines the meanings of "trust," "patience," and "humility" presented as three assistants of hope and presents them as pastoral counseling approaches of nano-society.
