청소년의 진로정체감에 영향을 미치는 사회자본의 경로모형 연구 = The Effects of Family and School Social Capital on Youths` Career Identity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 청소년의 진로정체감에 대한 사회자본 변수의 영향력을 분석 하고자, 가족 사회자본 변수와 학교 사회자본 변수, 그리고 배경변수인 부모의 사회경제적 지위를 투입하여 영향력과 경로를 구조방정식모형을 통해서 검증하였다. 연구자료로 한국청소년정책연구원의 한국아동·청소년패널 조사(KCYPS) 중 초등학교 4학년의 4차 패널(2013)인 중학교 1학년 2,092명의 자료를 활용하였다. 우선 기술적 분석을 하였고 확인적 요인분석을 활용하여 연구모형의 적합도를 확인하였다. 구조방정식 모형을 활용하여 분석한 결과, 부모의 사회경제적 지위는 청소년의 진로정체감에 직접 영향력은 없으며 가족 사회자본과 학교 사회자본을 통해 간접영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 가족 사회자본은 청소년의 진로정체감에 직접영향과 학교 사회자본을 통한 간접영향 모두 통계적으로 유의미하여 직접효과 .140, 간접효과 .201로 총효과가 .341로 드러났다. 또한 학교 사회자본은 직접 효과에서 가장 큰 .324를 보이고, C.R.값으로 볼 때도 학교 사회자본이 진로정체감에 미치는 영향(9.547)이 가장 큰 것으로 밝혀졌다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 논의를 하였으며 향후 연구방향을 제언하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objective of this paper was to analyze the process through which family and school social capital affected youth’s career identity. Structural equation modeling using AMOS 18.0 was conducted on 2,092 7th-grade students to investigate the effects of family and school social capital and parents’ socioeconomic status(SES) on youths’ career identity as well as the paths of such effects. The fourth-year data for the 4th-grade panel of Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey were analyzed. Results showed that various process features of family and school social capital were important to predict youths’ career identity beyond family SES. Family social capital had direct and indirect effects on youths’ career identity. School social capital had direct effects on youths’ career identity. The results also indicated that social capital mediates the effects of family SES. Family SES was related to youths’ career identity through family and school social capital. The results indicated a strong positive relationship between family and school social capital and youths’ career identity. These findings highlighted the importance of youths’ social capital and the implications for future research were discussed.
