검정 국어 교과서 삽화에 대한 비판적 고찰 -글과의 관계에 따른 삽화의 의미 구성적 기능을 중심으로- = A critical study on the illustrations of authorized Korean language textbooks -Focused on the meaning constructional function of illustrations depending on the relation with writing-

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The objectives of this study are to critically review how illustrations of the authorized Korean language textbooks appear and to identify the possibility that illustrations can be applied variously from the point of view that illustrations can function as a factor of meaning construction. Currently, illustrations of Korean language textbooks generally appeared to be concentrated in elaborating content of the written text. Also, it was not significant that the effect of illustrations on the learner`s meaning construction. This is concerned with the situation of the authoring, adopting of Korean language textbooks. However, the essential problem is that the theory of Korean language textbook illustration that can dominantly change the situation does not exist. This article has a nature of a try at resolving the problem. In other words, illustrations needed to be viewed through an interaction with writing from the meaning constructional aspect. Therefore, this theory should be shared not only with public educators engaged in the macro procedure such as textbook publishing but also with those engaged in the micro procedure such as textbook selection and teaching.
