      Recently, countries around the world are trying to strengthen their cyber capabilities in order to expand their profits and security in cyberspace, reflecting the fear that cyber threats will be more horrific to humans than natural disasters. South Korea has also been making efforts to prevent recurrence of hacking accidents after receiving the concerns and jealousy of many people due to military data leakage caused by the national defense hacking in September 2016. In the cyber domain, which is the fifth battlefield newly emerging in accordance with the development of information and communication technologies such as the 4th Industrial Revolution, the most important thing for enhancing cyber capability is the skilled workforce. The latest cyber-protection system is human-operated, and artificial intelligence must also learn the quality data judged by experts. However, securing a professional cyber manpower is not easy. In order to nurture and maintain the level of cyber professionals in a short period of time, a lot of efforts are needed, such as common job analysis, establishment of evaluation standards, and educational plans. In this study, we present the implications and the application method of US military, focusing on the management of cyber professional manpower in the US military leading the global cyber security.

      Recently, countries around the world are trying to strengthen their cyber capabilities in order to expand their profits and security in cyberspace, reflecting the fear that cyber threats will be more horrific to humans than natural disasters. South Korea has also been making efforts to prevent recurrence of hacking accidents after receiving the concerns and jealousy of many people due to military data leakage caused by the national defense hacking in September 2016.
