게임 내 배지 알림의 시각적 특성 분석 연구 : 모바일 RPG를 중심으로 = A Study on the Visual Attributes of In-game Notification Badges : Focusing on Mobile RPGs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 모바일 RPG 배지 알림의 시각적 특성을 분석하여 디자인 경향과 그에 따른 인터랙션 메커니즘을 규명하였다. 분석 결과, 게임 내 배지 알림의 높은 시각적 다양성은 미적 정체성 강화와 이를 통한 몰입 유지를 위한 전략적 설계이자, 게임 플레이어의 동기를 자극해 플레이 사이클을 가속하는 장치로 확인되었다. 이는 게임 UI 디자인이 일반 애플리케이션과는 다른 독자적인 디자인 원리와 미적 논리를 기반으로 전개됨을 시사한다.

This study identifies design trends and interaction mechanisms by analyzing the Visual Attributes of mobile RPG notification badges. High visual diversity in badges is a strategic choice to enhance aesthetic identity and immersion, functioning as a device to accelerate the play cycle by stimulating motivation. This demonstrates that game UI design operates on distinct principles and aesthetic logic, differentiating it from general applications.
