초등학교 태권도 수련생의교우관계에 대한 사회연결망 분석 = The Social Network Analysis on the Interpersonal Relationship of the Elementary School Taekwondo Training Students

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to analyse the interpersonal relationship of the elementary school Taekwondo training students based on the social network theory. The following result is obtained by comparison and analysis of the social status and the interpersonal relationship of the Taekwondo training students of 305 (149 of trainees, 156 of non-trainees) in 10 different elementary school classes (5 low grades, 5 high grades).
First, the students in low grades make friends easily by creating 2~3 large low part groups in a weak link type ; however, as they go up to high grades they create various low part groups of small number based on empathy, expectation of interests and primary factor of character under temperament, and their friendship is becoming more stable, closer and important to individual. Furthermore, the Taekwondo training is seen to have a role to create the bridge of connecting the gap of the friendship between two separate groups of male and female Taekwondo training students who only stick together themselves regardless of gender; therefore, Taekwondo training provides a positive effect to creation of friendship.
Second, the social status (preference) of the Taekwondo training students is seen as higher than that of non-training students, so that Taekwondo training is proved to develop the sociality for a higher social status and the status created this way has a sufficient value to help the friendship to be improved by a positive effect to one's value and activity.
According to the evaluation result of the above, Taekwondo as a martial art sport has physical, mental, social and educational values, and these values affect the friendship among the training students, and development of the sociability. And the sociability and friendship learned through Taekwondo training are carried on to the friendship with school friends; therefore, the training has become preferred and affects for a wider influence to create a relationship with others and increase the social status of the Taekwondo training students. The social status formulated through friendship affect the value and activity of the training students favorably, and concrete the identity in the view of others, and create and maintain the desirable human relations by learning the social order, rule and culture.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구의 목적은 사회연결망 이론에 근거하여 초등학교 학급 내 태권도 수련생의 교우관계를 분석하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 초등학교 10개 학급(저학년 5개 학급, 고학년 5개 학급), 305명의 학생들(수련생 149명, 비수련생 156명)을 대상으로 태권도 수련생의 학급 내 사회적 지위와 교우관계를 비교, 분석한 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 저학년은 약한 연결 형태로서 2~3개의 커다란 하부집단을 형성하면서 많은 교우들을 쉽게 사귀는 반면, 고학년이 될 수록 강한 연결 형태로서 감정이입이나 이해의 기대, 기질적인 성격요인을 기준으로 적은 인원의 다양한 하부집단을 형성하면서 교우관계가 점점 더 안정되고, 친밀해진다. 또한 태권도 수련생은 남녀 간 서로 단절된 교우관계를 연결하는 브리지의 역할을 담당하고 있고, 태권도 수련생들 끼리 서로 교우관계를 형성하는 유유상종의 현상이 나타난 것으로 볼 때 태권도 수련이 교우관계 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 태권도 수련생의 학급 내 사회적 지위가 비수련생 보다 더 높다. 이는 태권도 수련이 사회성을 발달시켜 학급 내 사회적 지위를 높여주고, 이렇게 형성된 지위는 다시 수련생의 가치관이나 행동에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳐 원만한 교우관계를 돕는다는 측면에서 충분히 가치가 있다는 것을 증명해 주는 것이다.
